Many things work out faster in Germany than a construction site is finished. At Pro Sieben Sat 1, for example, where the slogan “We love to entertain you” was used for a long time, the favorite word is now “Public Value”. The program is said to be socially valuable today, and the media group has now succeeded in setting up a 60-strong newsroom, which was announced two years ago. At the beginning of the year, this editorial team is so operational that the group’s own programs Pro Sieben, Sat 1 and Kabel Eins are again broadcasting news from their own sources, after they had been bought in for years. Only the construction site – on a 26,000 square meter property in Munich-Unterföhring – needs a few more months, probably until late autumn 2023.
