Connect the mobile phone to the TV – How to transfer the content to the TV

Thanks to modern technology, it is now easy to transfer the content of your smartphone to the TV to transmit – with a cable as well as wirelessly. Sounds easy, and it is. However, the connection options for Android and iOS differ. What you should consider when connecting your phone to the screen, read below:

Connect cell phone and TV wirelessly

Connect your phone and TV with a cable

Streaming videos via Netflix, YouTube and Co. is a great hobby for many smartphone users. It is all the more practical if you can connect your mobile phone to the television on the couch at home: The following three devices were specially designed to enjoy films on the big TV screen:

Amazon FireTV: For this purpose, a special TV stick (incl. Alexa remote control) with HDMI connection required, which is plugged into the TV. Google Chromecast: This is a small computer that connects the cell phone and television wirelessly via an app or the Google Chrome browser. It is also connected via HDMI – the desired service (eg YouTube) can then be selected and your favorite film streamed.
