United States legislature The Senate Banking Committee has scheduled a second hearing to explore the impact of the crypto market crash on Feb. 14.
In an announcement on Feb. 3, Senate Banking Committee Chair Sherrod Brown said the senators will meet on Feb. 14 in a hearing on “Crypto Crash: Why Financial System Safeguards is Needs for Digital Assets.” Lawmakers met and discussed the collapse of FTX at a hearing on Dec. 14.
Both House and Senate committees have scheduled hearings after FTX filed for bankruptcy. This has affected many retail investors in the US. The House Financial Services Committee also expects a second hearing on FTX sometime in 2023.
