“I filed a complaint Tuesday morning. I would like these facts not to happen again, that it does not happen to other children,” declared Steven C., the child’s father, defended by lawyer Gérard Welzer. “I spoke with the mayor, but it changed nothing, he was unable to answer my question as to why the staff did not react to what the head of department did to my son “, he added.
According to his account, his 4-year-old son, welcomed at the Epinal municipal leisure center during the second week of the Christmas school holidays, was “glued to the chest, to his chair”, because he had been “ turbulent”, January 4.

When asked, the mayor of Epinal said he was “taking into consideration” the parents’ complaint and indicated that disciplinary proceedings had been initiated against the municipal employee.
