Each federation has its hour of glory. After rugby and football, French tennis is finally entitled to a little light, for the worse and… Even the worst. According to information from RMC Sports confirmed by AFP, executives of the French Tennis Federation have filed a complaint for embezzlement of public property and corruption within the body.
The complaint is being analyzed according to the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office (PNF), without giving more details, in particular on the period covered by this complaint while the FFT had as its general manager from March 2021 to May 2022 the current Minister of Sports Amelie Oudea-Castera.
The complaint comes a few weeks after the publication in the media of an investigation questioning the management methods and the financial management of the Federation since the election as president in early 2021 of Gilles Moretton.
