Comment – The snake pit has dried up – District of Munich

The time of hen fights in the SPD Munich-Land is over. A good two years after Florian Schardt took over the leadership of the divided and unsuccessful district association, the women who shaped him more in bad and good are history: the former hopeful and short-term member of the Bundestag Bela Bach in the self-inflicted sideline, the Immer -somehow-there-party functionary Natascha Kohnen failed and frustrated, the permanent candidate for everything and nothing Annette Ganssmüller-Maluche as Grüß-Gott-deputy of the district administrator on the siding.

While some might have believed that they could control the initially inexperienced, barely networked new district chairman by enclosing him with their offices and posts, the situation after his first term of office is exactly the other way around: After he first politely rearranges the old squad Having grouped himself around, the chairman used the time to maneuver them purposefully and with a steady hand. In almost a record-breaking time, Schardt not only succeeded in drying out the snake pit that the SPD had become in the district; With fresh people like Korbinian Rüger and Ramona Greiner, he has brought loyal people to the side who support his course. This consists in making the SPD in the district again a force to be taken seriously, which is not primarily about posts and careers.
