The Dutch Railways take touching care of cuddly toys that were lost on the trains: “Kibby would love to hop back into her owner’s arms.”

The Dutch Railways is organizing a “Week of the Lost Cuddly toys” so that soft toys found on trains over the course of the year can be returned to their owners. Photos of some lost and unclaimed cuddly toys were published on social media with a small text, as the railway announced on Monday in Utrecht.

“Kibby would love to hop back into her owner’s arms,” said a pink stuffed bunny. “Quack, quack, who misses Eddie?” was the call from a yellow duck. Giggi Giraffe and a Paddington Bear are also still waiting to be picked up from the railway’s lost and found property.

A total of around 100 cuddly toys were found in the compartments this year. The five most common items lost on Dutch trains include keys, bags and suitcases, jackets, headphones and earphones, and wallets.

The more than 62,000 lost items also included a garden set, an expensive coffee machine and a large dog box, as the railway (Nederlandse Spoorwegen/NS) announced.
