This Thursday, Coline Berry-Rojtman was sentenced for defamation of her ex-mother-in-law, singer Jeane Manson. A year ago, the eldest daughter of Richard Berry accused him of sexual violence in an article in the World, in which she evoked what she would have suffered when she was a minor in the 1980s at the home of her father, who then lived with Jeane Manson, accused of having participated in these attacks.
The day after her conviction, Coline Berry-Rojtman decided to speak in a posted story on his Instagram account. “27,000 euros. This is the sanction for having dared to denounce what I suffered in my flesh. […] For more than ten hours, I suffered the slander of the clan organized around my father in an attempt to discredit my person, my mother and the family I have built,” she wrote.
The Aurillac court sentenced her to a fine of 2,000 euros for defamation following this article and for her intervention in the program The Live BFM. She was also ordered to pay 20,000 euros in damages to her former mother-in-law, as well as 5,000 euros for legal costs.
Coline Berry-Rojtman evokes “an organized ambush”
“Nothing has been spared us: mythomania, alcoholism, madness, even anti-Semitism. Everything was good to try to silence me, to pass myself off as someone who does not know what he is saying and to put pressure on an ongoing criminal investigation in Paris,” she continues.
A few days ago, the accuser had been slapped by the current partner of Richard Berry, Pascale Louange. An episode to which Coline Berry-Rojtman seems to refer in the rest of her message. “It was even decided in the evening to hit me, in an organized ambush, to be sure to intimidate me again, and physically this time, she testifies.
