Coinbase’s 2022 Digital Asset Trends survey shows that 62% of crypto investors currently have increased their investments in the past 12 months, compared to 12% who have reduced their investments.
“This is evidence that institutional investors remain long-term on the asset. Even if prices fall,” Coinbase said. “Looking ahead, 58% of investors expect to increase their investment in the next three years.”
About 59% of investors are or plan to take a buy-and-hold approach, according to the poll.
The survey interviewed 140 institutional investors for their current sentiment. and views on digital assets since the start of the bear market.
However, only 7.9% of institutional investors surveyed by Coinbase expect crypto prices to trend higher over the next 12 months, with the bitcoin price down more than 50% since the start of the year. and came down to around $16,000.
