Paris SG, reigning European vice-champion, will face Manchester City in the semi-finals of the Champions League, qualified on Wednesday at the expense of Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland (2-1), a score identical to the quarter-final to go.
Dortmund qualified at half-time
The Citizens, badly embarked after a goal of the young talent of 17 years Jude Bellingham (15th, 1-0), obtained the qualification on a penalty of Riyad Mahrez (55th, 1-1) and a missile from Foden (75th, 2 -1). This is only the second time in their history that the English club have reached this stage of the competition, after 2015-16, when they were eliminated by Real Madrid.
Pep Guardiola’s men travel to Parc des Princes on April 27 or 28, before a return match the following week in England.
