Little Quentin Tarantino must have been a pretty precocious fruit. The cinema was to blame, of course – what else? Because his mother and stepfather often took him to the cinema in the evenings while his peers were already in bed, he immersed himself early on in a mysterious adult world that was to remain hidden from the other children for a long time to come : “Some parents didn’t even want me to play with their children at school because of the violent films I watched and talked about.”
