Ciao, Bukow: Polizeiruf 110: The last episode with Charly Huebner – media

For once, it is revealed here how a crime thriller ends. At the end of the Rostock Police call-Follow “None of Us”, pigs land from space and find investigator Sascha Bukow, Charly Huebner, so strange and interesting that they take him with them even though he is not one of them.

Nonsense, of course it doesn’t end like that. The outcome of the last Rostock episode with Charly Hübner cannot be revealed, if only because the NDR only made available to film critics a viewing version without the last quarter of an hour. On the basis of course you can’t say anything, absolutely nothing about a film, that’s that. Because maybe Bukow was just dreaming the nerve-racking story that happened the last quarter of an hour? Then he wakes up, gets in the shower, looks at his toenails and decides to quit the police because he sleeps so badly because of his work? Everything already happens in movies.

It is well known that Bukow’s umbilical cord was never completely severed in the milieu

One thing is certain: Huebner has to go somehow, this is his last time. The NDR has announced that a woman will be investigating the side of die-hard profiler Katrin König (Anneke Kim Sarnau) soon. Melly Böwe is the name of the future, and she is played by the fabulous one Lina Beckmann. In real life she happened to be married to Charly Hübner. In Rostock Police call but – don’t mess anything up now! – she is the half-sister of Sascha Bukow. We have known that since the last episode in which Melly appeared at the funeral of Veit Buckow, their father. Papa Bukow (played wonderfully provincial by Klaus Manchen) shot things in Rostock, but both children have become police officers. With Sascha Bukow, as is well known, the umbilical cord in the milieu was never completely cut.

In an earlier episode, König (Anneke Kim Sarnau) put false evidence on the woman killer wax. Bukow knows that and covers them.

Viewers familiar with previous episodes will have more of the last one. Actually, you just have to do the two very good previous episodes watch to get a feel for how extremely the whole constellation accelerates towards the finale.

Bukow and König only recently met, but they have found each other and want to – get married. It doesn’t have to be, because they are so bound to each other. In an earlier episode, König gave the woman murderer wax false evidence in an act of vigilante justice, and Bukow covers it. Since then, the two have been drawn into increasingly blacker entanglements. Knowing about the fraud finally brought them together.

It’s so unromantic! But it creates a force that strikes fully in the last episode. In “None of Us” they walk around with faces like lost souls. Rostock in-house director Eoin Moore, who also wrote the screenplay with Anika Wangard, has brought back the underworld boss Zoran Subocek as the devil to whom they are helpless.

Strictly speaking, the Rostock is Police 110 With its city, its characters and storylines, it has been nothing more than a single long, dark series about two desperados as police officers for twelve years. Now the showdown and the wedding and the Last Judgment coincide. The silence threatens after the end.

“None of us”, Das Erste, Sunday, 8:15 pm. The previous episodes “The day will come” and “Sabine” in the ARD media library.
