A short sentence has been worrying many in Bavaria’s schools for weeks, expressed at the anniversary celebration of the Nuremberg Teachers’ Association: “It will be a big wheel that we are turning,” said Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) and aimed at significantly more flexible teacher training. He wants to solve the long-term problem of teacher shortages. And silence the constant moaning about hours lost before the state elections. So far, little is concrete. Reason enough to ask schools what students, parents and teachers want more urgently for the new year. Excerpts from her wish list to the state government.
