The journalist Franca Lehfeldt and FDP boss Christian Lindner got engaged. The couple want to get married in the coming year.
Christian Lindner (42) got engaged according to “RTL / ntv”. The FDP boss and his partner Franca Lehfeldt (32), chief reporter for politics magazine at RTL News, will get married next year. The two have been a couple since 2018.
The engagement took place in mid-September on the occasion of Lehfeldt’s birthday with friends and family. “We are overjoyed”, so the Hamburg woman according to “RTL.de”: “Since we are both in public, it is important for me to emphasize that I have my own private views and that I am independent as a journalist. Christian Lindner adds: “It is completely clear to me that Franca has her own profession and her own mind independent of me. I love her not because she agrees with me, but because she has her own.”
Lehfeldt has been reporting on federal politics for the RTL capital studio for several years. Among other things, she interviewed the Chancellor candidates from Union and SPD, Armin Laschet and Olaf Scholz. For Christian Lindner it will be the second marriage, the politician was previously married to the journalist Dagmar Rosenfeld.
