The end of the quarantine requirement for travelers was like a belated Christmas present for many people in China. “It’s some of the best news that’s circulated in the past few months,” says a delighted Andreas Nagel, who from Shanghai heads product management, sales and service at Stulz in China, a supplier of air conditioning systems. On the one hand, it is great for the companies where representatives from the headquarters can finally meet with the employees and customers in China again, without any annoying video switching. On the other hand, there is also a great psychological burden for many families, some of whom have not seen their relatives for years.
