Alfons Schuhbeck is back on the big stage. A week after being sentenced to prison, the star chef was cheered at the premiere of a dinner show in Munich’s “Teatro”. The 73-year-old performed at the conclusion of the show, singing Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” and Elvis Presley’s “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You.” “I’m drinking two Schnapserl,” he said after his performance, adding: “The last two weeks haven’t been a hit with me.”
The hardships of the procedure could be seen on the TV star, he seemed very upset. On Thursday last week, the district court in Munich I imposed a prison sentence of three years and two months on the 73-year-old for tax evasion. At such a level, parole is no longer possible.
