A new AI system comes online almost every week – almost all of them want to compete with ChatGPT. These alternatives are worth taking a look at.
With the constant development of artificial intelligence (AI), more and more alternatives are emerging ChatGPT, which are characterized by special functions and areas of application. These AI systems are currently among the best alternatives to ChatGPT.
The ChatGPT alternative that has caused the most stir in recent weeks is called Claude 3 by Anthropic. The system has been online since March 2024 and is so good that even the free version can keep up with OpenAI’s paid AI. Claude 3 comes in three versions – Haiku, Sonnet and Opus – suitable for a wide range of applications, from quick customer interactions to complex tasks.
Another notable competitor is Gemini, Google’s most advanced and general AI model. It is characterized by its multimodal ability to understand and combine different types of information such as text, code, audio, images and video. Compared to Google’s previous model Bard, Gemini offers significantly improved processing and integration of multimodal information and stands out for its seamless integration with Google services such as Gmail and Docs.

Microsoft’s Co-pilot, formerly known as Bing Chat, is another alternative that stands out for its integration with Microsoft 365. Perplexity AI in turn is an AI-based search tool that responds to natural language queries and is characterized by the ability to provide follow-up questions and contextual answers. This model is particularly popular for research purposes and offers functions such as sentiment analysis and text classification.

Chatsonic, developed by Writesonic, is another innovative solution that stands out for its ability to integrate Google’s knowledge graph and provide real-time information. It supports voice commands and can generate images, which makes it different from ChatGPT.
Replica, an AI designed for emotional support, offers a unique approach by building a deeper emotional connection with users. It adapts to the user’s communication style over time and promotes a personal connection.
