The Grimaldis family anniversary is planned without Charlène

The Principality of Monaco does not come to rest: After the French media revealed a contract between Charlène and Prince Albert II, the “Bunte” now reports that the South African should be excluded from planning for the family anniversary.
The revelations were explosive: last week, the French magazine “Voici” reports of a contract that Charlene of Monaco is said to have concluded with her husband, Prince Albert II. The strictly confidential document should regulate, among other things, the annual payment of twelve million euros to Charlene. In return, the native South African should commit to performing together with her husband.
On the other hand, the 44-year-old should not be present at other dates: As the “Bunte” reports, the princess was not given a place on the Grimaldis committee, which organizes the celebrations for Prince Rainier’s milestone birthday. Prince Albert II’s father would be 100 on May 31, 2023.
Albert had already announced the cast last December, at the time his wife was in a clinic in Switzerland. The family is represented by Albert himself and his sisters Caroline and Stéphanie and their children.

There is another reason why the recovered Charlène does not move up to the committee: the contract revealed by “Voici” is also intended to regulate contact with Caroline of Monaco, Albert’s older sister. According to this, Charlène had a contractual guarantee that she would no longer have to meet her sister-in-law. In the run-up there were repeated reports and speculation about the supposedly hostile relationship between the two women.
Charlène left Monaco in spring 2021 and traveled to her native South Africa. Officially to support an animal welfare organization and attend the funeral of the Zulu King. But the originally planned ten days turned into seven months. Her return to Monaco at the end of 2021 was short-lived: she soon left the principality and went to a Swiss clinic.
Charlène returned in March 2022 and made her first official appearance in a long time on April 30th. According to the contract, further appearances are to follow – but probably not alongside her sister-in-law Caroline of Monaco.
