Champions League: Tuchel will be without Thomas Müller against Arsenal

Thomas Müller will initially sit on the bench in FC Bayern’s game against Arsenal FC. Noussair Mazraoui, however, is new to the starting line-up.

Thomas Tuchel will once again be without veteran Thomas Müller in the quarter-final second leg of the Champions League with FC Bayern against Arsenal FC.

Müller, who is about to make his 150th appearance in the premier class, will initially be on the bench against the Gunners. Raphael Guerreiro takes the place of the injured Serge Gnabry in the offensive. The only other new player compared to the 2-2 draw in London is Noussair Mazraoui, who replaces the suspended Alphonso Davies at left-back behind Guerreiro.

Neuer and Sané in the starting line-up

Captain Manuel Neuer and Leroy Sane, who were not in action against 1. FC Köln (2-0) at the weekend, are in the starting line-up as expected.

The guests’ captain Martin Odegaard got fit in time for the premier class hit. As expected, national player Kai Havertz is also in the starting line-up. The first leg in London ended 2-2, with the winner moving on to the semi-finals against Manchester City or Real Madrid.
