According to the data service provider Opta, the goal in the 29th minute came 31 years and four days after the first goal in the history of the premier class by Brugge’s Daniel Amokachi in 1992. Goals in the qualification before the group phase do not count in these statistics.

Ramos has won the Champions League four times with Real Madrid. With over 130 appearances, he is one of the players with the most games in the premier class. The record holder here is Ramos’ former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo (183).
