FC Bayern Munich vs. Viktoria Pilsen: This is how you can follow the Champions League live

Even a draw against Viktoria Pilsen could be enough for Bayern to advance to the last 16 of the Champions League.

On Wednesday, FC Bayern Munich will play their fourth game in the Uefa Champions League against Viktoria Pilsen. Bayer Leverkusen welcomes FC Porto, Eintracht Frankfurt has to survive at Tottenham Hotspurs. So you can follow the games live.

Football fans will have to spend even more money in the new Champions League season than in the previous season. In order to have free choice in the three European competitions that start with the group stage this week, even three subscriptions are necessary.

FC Bayern, Borussia Dortmund and Co.: Where are the Champions League live games?

Two subscriptions are required for the premier class. DAZN and Amazon are showing the Champions League for the second year. Amazon customers can watch the top game on Tuesday via the Prime Video offer.

DAZN shows all other games. The paid Internet provider has purchased a package with a total of 121 live games, including conferences. On Wednesday, DAZN will show the games FC Bayern Munich against Viktoria Pilsen, Bayern Leverkusen against FC Porto and Tottenham Hotspurs against Eintracht Frankfurt (kick-off at 9 p.m. each time).

What do the subscriptions cost?

DAZN has increased the price again for the new season. The streaming service costs EUR 29.99 per month, which is about twice as expensive as last season. If you want to see all the Champions League games, you need the Amazon Prime subscription for EUR 8.99, which was also cheaper in the previous season at EUR 7.99.

Which fans can save?

Supporters of Leipzig and Leverkusen may be angry at the disregard from online giant Amazon, which does not show their teams’ group stage games. On the other hand, the fans of RB and Bayer can be happy because they only need one subscription for the six live games of their team, at least for the time being.

What is there from the Champions League on free TV?

The range of moving images of the most important club competition on free-to-air television is still scarce. ZDF is allowed to broadcast the final live and also shows highlights. On a total of 14 match days, the second offers summaries on Wednesdays from 11 p.m.

What can fans see in pubs?

Fans must find out beforehand which pub is broadcasting which games. Sky does not own any rights, but offers Prime Video’s live games in the sports bars with contracts after an agreement with Amazon. Pubs that also want to show their customers the other games need an additional contract with DAZN.

Who shows Europa and Conference League?

Fans of FC Freiburg, 1. FC Union Berlin and 1. FC Köln do not need Amazon or DAZN. The television home of the Europa League and the Conference League is the RTL Group. The games of the two competitions are shown on RTL, on the niche channel Nitro and on the in-house streaming service RTL+.

On the fourth day of the game, SC Freiburg’s game at FC Nantes will be broadcast on RTL+ from 6.45 p.m. From 9 p.m. Nitro will broadcast Union Berlin’s home game against Malmö. From 11 p.m. there will be summaries of the other games. 1. FC Köln fans can watch Effzeh’s Conference League game at Partizan Belgrade on RTL+ on Thursday. Kick-off is at 6:45 p.m.

How much do Europa League and Conference League cost?

RTL+ has also become more expensive. A subscription to the streaming service for ten months (Season Pass) costs EUR 49.90 after EUR 34.99 in the previous season.
