Lewandowski scores: Barça in the quarter-finals
FC Barcelona moves confidently into the quarter-finals of the premier class. The Catalans deserved to win 3-1 against SSC Napoli – also because two former Munich players scored.
Fermín López (15th minute), João Cancelo (17th) and Robert Lewandowski (83rd) scored the goals for the hosts. Amir Rrahmani (30th) scored the next goal for the Italians.
Barcelona were the better team for long stretches and started the game strongly against the Italians, who were struggling in the league. With a double strike within two minutes, López and ex-Munich Cancelo gave the hosts the lead. Ter Stegen in goal initially had nothing to do – until Rrahmani suddenly equalized.
But even after the break, Barça remained dominant for long stretches. After a fine combination via Gündogan and Sergi Roberto, Lewandowski finally scored the winning goal.
