Borussia Dortmund says goodbye to the Champions League with a sovereign victory. Marco Reus and Erling Haaland each scored two goals against a weak Beşiktaş team.
The Bundesliga team won 5-0 (2-0) against the Turkish champions on Tuesday (December 8th, 2021). The game no longer had any effect on the table. After three defeats against Ajax Amsterdam and Sporting Lisbon, Dortmund was third in the group C and will therefore continue to play in the Europa League in the new year.
