The match against the Sharks is decisive. They did not make it easy for themselves after losing their first two Investec Champions Cup matches against Leinster (9-16) and the Stormers (21-20).
This meeting promises to be electric since Sale must absolutely win to secure a qualifying place. The English are fifth at 5 points, just behind the Rochelais who have 7 points. After getting off to a good start to their Investec Champions Cup campaign against Stade Français, the Sharks suffered two defeats in a row against Leinster and the Stormers. Victory is therefore obligatory for Georges Ford’s teammates against Brice Dulin’s friends.
