Celine Dion has surprisingly postponed her return to Las Vegas indefinitely: The singer has health problems and was therefore unable to attend the rehearsals. She sent an emotional message to her fans.

Concern for Celine Dion: The singer canceled her planned return to Las Vegas at short notice. A press release mentions “unforeseen health problems”. Dion suffered from severe and persistent muscle cramps that prevented her from attending the rehearsals. Actually, the 53-year-old should be back in Las Vegas with a new show for five days on November 5th, further dates from January to February had been announced. The income from the opening concert should go to a foundation that supports those affected by corona.

on Instagram she turned to her fans with emotional words: “My heart is broken. My team and I have been working on our new show for eight months that I cannot open it in November, it saddened me deeply,” she writes. She feels bad about letting everyone down. “I’m especially sorry for all of the fans who planned to come to Las Vegas. I have to focus on getting well now. I want to get out of this as soon as possible.”

Dion is under medical treatment to find out what causes the severe convulsions. Most recently, she was on stage in Las Vegas in 2019, where she kept presenting new shows for a good 16 years. The organizers were understanding: “Céline is like family to us and the most important thing now is that she can concentrate on getting well. We have seen in the past two decades how much passion and resilience she is there and, that she is happiest when she does what she loves, namely to be on stage and perform for her fans, “said the President of Concerts West / AEG Presents.

Dion’s announced world tour in March should take place as planned so far.
