“Thor, 3, walrus bull in the North Sea, has now reappeared in Iceland after his holiday in the UK. Thor was seen near the place Breiðdalsvík, reported the BBC. The Icelandic broadcaster RUV published a video, on which the approximately three meter long walrus relaxes on a jetty. However, he ignored the frozen herring that the harbor guard had thrown at him. In England, Thor had been spotted at several locations on the south and east coasts around the turn of the year, drawing thousands of visitors. The parish of Scarborough had even canceled their New Year’s Eve fireworksso as not to frighten the animal.
