Carsten Maschmeyer and his wife Veronica Ferres are currently in the Maldives. Maschmeyer’s son Marcel married his girlfriend there.
Like many other couples in love, Carsten Maschmeyer’s son Marcel and his partner Marie chose a special date for the church wedding. Together they got married on February 22nd, 2022, as the proud father announced in an Instagram post. He also published a wedding photo from the dream beach of Cocoa Island in the Maldives, in which the bridal couple smiles at the camera surrounded by Carsten Maschmeyer and his wife Veronica Ferres.
The “Lion’s Cave” investor wrote: “22.2.22 – forever for two. What a special moment! Marcel and Marie, we are overjoyed to celebrate your church wedding with you. We are very happy about your happiness together and I wish you all the best from my heart!” Actress Veronica Ferres also shared the post on her Instagram account.
Civil wedding in Hanover
Maschmeyer’s son and his girlfriend had already been married in a civil ceremony in Hanover’s town hall in October. At that time, the 62-year-old wrote to one Photo on Instagram: “Today I’m just a proud dad – and father-in-law! Marcel and Marie, I wish you all the best from the bottom of my heart. I still remember your first steps, the first day of school… and now this further important step in your life! Me I am very happy that you have found each other and that we can accompany you on your life path together.”
Like his brother Maurice, Marcel comes from Carsten Maschmeyer’s first marriage to Bettina Maschmeyer. The couple were married from 1989 to 2009. The entrepreneur has been married to actress Veronica Ferres since 2014. She brought her daughter Lilly into the marriage.
