In view of the many depressing news, the longing for distraction is probably greater than it has been for a long time – especially after two years in which the pandemic prevented boisterous carnival celebrations. Many fools were drawn to the parades in the district at the weekend, for example to Ismaning and Unterschleißheim. Before they have to wait for the next season again, carnival fans can enjoy the colorful hustle and bustle in many places on Tuesday. It all starts in the morning in Ismaning: from 11 a.m. the fools gather on the basketball court in the grove, and the Feringa carnival party performs.
In Pullach, Sigi Sterr and his band accompany the community’s carnival activities on the church square from 2 p.m. There is also street carnival in Haar from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. around the church square. There is also something going on all afternoon in the Haarer community center: from 2 p.m. the children celebrate at the Kirnarra ball, at 6 p.m. the big farewell party for the Kirchheim fools takes place. The Unterhachinger Gleisenia also organizes a children’s ball from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Hachinga Hall. In the Würmtal, the carnival ends in the evening with the finale of the Würmesia from 7.30 p.m. in the Neurieder multi-purpose hall.
