Cardano’s Charles Hoskinson said duringAMA session On YouTube recently, a legal battle between the SEC and Ripple could be concluded in the near future.
He said he had heard “rumours” that the two-year legal battle between Ripple and the US Securities and Exchange Commission could end on Dec. 15.
Hoskinson claims the outcome of a closely watched lawsuit could have “catastrophic” implications for the industry.
On Dec. 2, Ripple filed a response to the SEC’s objection to the defendants’ motion for summary judgment. This is the final submission in the lawsuit, with the plaintiff also asking the court to punish Ripple in response.
