BVB team presentation and test match against Ajax Amsterdam LIVE on TV, stream and ticker

A week before the start of the competitive game in the DFB Cup BVB presents itself to its supporters.

Sports Director Sebastian Kehl said in an interview: “Of course we were looking forward to being back in the stadium for the first time and then playing to a full house afterwards. I think the boys are now also eager to finally get started.”

“It’s a bit more than a friendly today because it’s the last game before the start of the DFB Cup next week and of course we’ll want to put in a good performance,” explained Kehl.

After the team, of course, the coaching team for the new season is still missing.

Edin Terzic said to the fans: “I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart on behalf of the team.”

“I can’t forget what happened on the last matchday, I don’t want to forget it and I won’t forget it either. You showed us once again what it means to be Borussia. You have shown once again what a special club our heart beats for and thank you very much for that,” emphasized Terzic.

All the players from this season who were in the squad last season have already been introduced. Next, Dickel introduces the newcomers.

Sabitzer said: “I am very happy to be here. Of course, the first few days are always exciting. The guys have welcomed me well and I already feel very comfortable.”

“It must be the absolute aim of BVB and of us to win titles. That must be the clear goal for this season,” emphasized the 29-year-old.

The strikers of Borussia follow. So far, however, Sébastien Haller has been the loudest.

Dickel first presents the midfielders. The spectators are happy when Julian Brandt enters the field, but they greet ex-captain Marco Reus and his successor Emre Can loudest.
