Before the Europa League first leg against Glasgow Rangers, BVB coach Marco Rose spoke about the away goal rule.
“You always have to score a goal more than your opponent. It makes it easier, but it doesn’t affect our preparation or worry us,” Rose said at Wednesday’s press conference.
BVB – Rose on Rangers: “Play excellent football”
About opponents Glasgow said the BVB coach: “They are able to keep up the pace, fight duels. If you let them, they play excellent football.”
When Rose was asked to evaluate the BVB season, he replied: “Our ambitions in Dortmund are big. If we’re eliminated somewhere, it doesn’t feel good at all. Not because there’s pressure from outside, but because we have high standards ourselves to have.”
They want to get to the next round in the Europa League, he emphasized.
