“Burning Man”: Desert Festival sinks in the mud (Video)

In the video: “Burning Man” sinks into the mud

Few festivals are typically as dry as the annual Burning Man in the Nevada desert. Even a magnificent rainbow can’t make up for the mud that is currently making life difficult for tens of thousands of visitors. Access to the Black Rock City venue would be closed for the remainder of the event after heavy rainfall, organizers said. Those who have already arrived should save food and water. According to the organizers, more than 60,000 participants travel to the remote area in northwestern Nevada every year to be artistically active, to dance and to enjoy the community in the temporary city – this year, however, under different circumstances.
