Bayern’s Kimmich questionable against Leverkusen

The use of Bayern Munich’s ailing national soccer player Joshua Kimmich in the top Bundesliga game against Bayer Leverkusen is questionable.
The midfielder missed the German national team’s friendly against France (2-1) due to muscular problems. “Jo Kimmich is questionable, he came back injured from the national team,” reported Munich coach Thomas Tuchel.
Offensive player Jamal Musiala did not travel to the national team at all. He is in rehabilitation training after a torn muscle fiber. He wouldn’t have played against Japan on Saturday (1:4) anyway, and he missed the test against France. “He had slight problems in his back, he has been training well and pain-free for the last two days. If it stays that way today, he will definitely be in the squad,” said Tuchel before the evening game on Friday (8.30 p.m./DAZN). .
The Bayern coach sees opponents Leverkusen as a “big challenge”. The team of former Munich midfielder Xabi Alonso is “very stable and homogeneous at a high level”. Both FC Bayern and Leverkusen have won their first three Bundesliga games this season.
