FC Bayern Munich has started preparing for the new season with a first group around new signing Ryan Gravenberch.

FC Bayern Munich has started preparing for the new season with a first group around new signing Ryan Gravenberch.

In addition to the new midfielder from Ajax Amsterdam, central defender Dayot Upamecano and reserve goalkeeper Sven Ulreich worked up a sweat on Monday under the guidance of coach Julian Nagelsmann at the private session in Munich. Joshua Zirkzee, who was last loaned to RSC Anderlecht, jogged on the Munich training pitch after his return.

More stars will begin training as the week progresses. A lot of stressed national players like Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller or the Polish world footballer Robert Lewandowski should only start in the coming week in the preparation.

Before the official team presentation in the Allianz Arena on July 16th, the whole team should be on the training ground. The first competitive game will take place on July 30: In Leipzig, Bayern will meet DFB Cup winners RB Leipzig in the DFL Supercup.
