Bryan Zaragoza: FC Bayern signs Spanish international from FC Granada – Sport

Bayern Munich has completed its first transfer for the coming season and signed Spanish left winger Bryan Zaragoza. The 22-year-old will move from Spanish first division club FC Granada to the record champions for the 2024/25 season and will receive a five-year contract.

The club did not reveal financial details about the transfer. Media reports mention a transfer fee of 15 million euros, which is even higher than the transfer fee of 14 million euros fixed in an exit clause.

Sports director Christoph Freund sees the Spaniard as a “strong, very fast and extremely agile winger. He is unpredictable, dangerous and very good in one-on-one situations.” According to Freund, Zaragoza has “been on our radar for a long time at Bayern. He will expand our offensive options.”

Zaragoza made his debut for the Spanish national team in October. In 51 competitive games for Granada, which currently occupies second-to-last place in the Spanish league, he has so far scored ten goals and three assists – five goals and two assists this season alone.
