Bitter pill for the fans. US rock singer Bruce Springsteen has canceled all concerts this year. Health doesn’t cooperate. The singer – nicknamed “The Boss” – initially canceled all concerts in September at the beginning of the month due to a stomach ulcer. The performances should be rescheduled next year, the 74-year-old explained on Wednesday.

“Bruce Springsteen has been steadily recovering from a stomach ulcer over the past few weeks and will continue treatment for the rest of the year on the advice of his doctor,” said the management of the singer of hits like “Born in the USA” and “Streets of Philadelphia.” . Therefore, all remaining concerts by Springsteen and his E Street Band for 2023 would be postponed until next year. The new dates will be announced next week.

Bruce Springsteen on the mend

“Thank you to all my friends and fans for your well wishes, encouragement and support,” Springsteen said. “I’m on the mend and can’t wait to see you all in the coming year.”

Springsteen and his E Street Band have been on tour since the beginning of the year. In August, the musician from the state of New Jersey had already canceled two appointments due to illness, without specifying his suffering in more detail at the time.
