The British airline British Airways had to struggle again with technical problems at London Heathrow Airport on Wednesday. There are still flight cancellations on Thursday.

At the request of the German Press Agency, Great Britain’s largest airline announced that there had been technical difficulties on Wednesday afternoon that had affected operations at Terminal 5 at Heathrow. According to media reports, there were considerable delays. However, these have now been remedied and flight operations will resume.

The airline later added that some flights had been canceled in the evening. “We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience we have caused them and are offering an airfare refund or rebooking on an alternative flight and providing meal vouchers and hotel accommodation where necessary,” the statement said.

British Airways canceled all short-haul flights from Heathrow at the end of February due to technical problems. Shortly before, it had already hooked up.
