The second season of “Bridgerton” will be tamer than the first round. And that despite the fact that the focus is on a love triangle.

The new season of “Bridgerton” is upon us. But the second round of the successful Netflix series should be tamer than the first season from March 25th. According to The Sun the sex scenes were supposedly significantly reduced.

“Fans who loved the first season of the hot-blooded series were probably hoping the sequel would feature more sex, not less,” a source tells the British newspaper.

But according to the unnamed insider, the second round should go exactly the opposite way. Although the trailer promises an affair between Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey, 33) and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley, 26), there are few intimate moments.

In the first season there were explicit sex scenes between Phoebe Dynevor (26) as Daphne Bridgerton and Regé-Jean Page (34) as Simon Basset. But the Duke of Hastings is no longer there in the second season.

“Bridgerton”: This is the story of season 2

The second season of “Bridgerton” focuses on the Viscount Lord Anthony Bridgerton’s bridal show. The womanizer not only turns Kate Sharma’s head, but also her sister Edwina (Charithra Chandran, 25). A love triangle is brewing.

The first season of the historical drama became the highest-grossing Netflix series of all time in January 2021. The Korean thriller “Squid Game” took over the title from “Bridgerton” last fall.
