The former head of the Bundesbank and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the major Swiss bank UBS, Axel Weber, is switching to the consulting business. Weber started as a senior global advisor at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) last week, the consulting firm announced. Weber brings a wealth of experience from his career in academia, regulatory, central banking and corporates. The economics professor Weber headed the UBS Board of Directors for ten years and left in April 2022 after reaching the limit of his term of office.
