Bones discovered in the Notre-Dame forest

It was two walkers who discovered these bones late in the afternoon on the edge of Noiseau, in Val-de-Marne, and called the police. According to the first elements of the investigation, to which an anthropologist contributes, it is a human iliac bone, a large and flat bone constituting part of the pelvis, and a femur.

Dead less than ten years

An excavation was organized in the following days to search for other elements, including the rest of the bones. On Thursday, April 11, the Val-de-Marne departmental judicial police service (SDPJ94) discovered around ten lumbar vertebrae in the same sector of the Notre-Dame forest. According to a source close to the investigation, cited by The Parisiansome bones would show bite marks.

The first analyzes carried out by the Paris forensic institute determined that these bones come from a man aged between 20 and 45 years old and whose death occurred less than ten years ago.
