An interministerial crisis unit was opened, “following a suspicion of the presence on board of an explosive device on flight AF865” which took off from Ndjamena in Chad a little before 11 am (1 pm in Paris), indicates the Ministry of the Interior in a press release on Thursday. The plane landed at Roissy airport without incident at 4:01 p.m. and was isolated. “The passengers have been disembarked. The doubts are being lifted, ”the press release also indicates.
At the request of the Prime Minister, the interministerial crisis cell was opened, following a suspicion of the presence on board of an explosive device on an Air France Ndjamena – Paris flight.

Chaired by Gérald Darmanin, the Minister of the Interior, the interministerial crisis unit brings together the offices of the Prime Minister, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Minister of the Armed Forces, the Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice , the Minister for Transport, as well as all the state services mobilized.
At the end of the afternoon, the authorities indicated that “no explosive device” had been found on board the plane.
