However, a new filter called Bold Glamor that was published on Tiktok is now disturbing even users who have been used to the fact that screens do not necessarily reflect reality since they were young. The new generation of filters doesn’t just smack a blur barrage on cheeks and forehead, but also photorealistically alters body features: a narrower nose, fuller lips, and a more powerful jaw. All of this happens in real time and even when the camera angles are changed or the face is partially obscured.
