Three weeks ago, Alec Baldwin’s wife Hilaria took a social media hiatus, now she’s back with some happy news: The 38-year-old is expecting child number seven.
Alec Baldwin is going to be a father again. His wife Hilaria Baldwin is expecting another baby, as the 38-year-old surprisingly announced on Instagram after a social media break. Baldwin released a short clip showing the parents, who have been married since 2012, with their six children. “After many ups and downs in recent years,” the couple has exciting news, writes the former yoga teacher: “A new Baldwinito is coming in the fall.” The Baldwins actually thought that family planning was over, but they were “more than happy” with this surprise. The video shows the moment the two shared the message with their children.
Alec and Hilaria got married in 2012. Daughter Carmen was born in 2013, son Rafael in 2015, little Leonardo followed in 2016 and Romeo two years later. Brother Eduardo was born in 2020 and sister Lucia in 2021. The 63-year-old actor also has a daughter from his previous marriage to Kim Basinger: daughter Ireland, 26.
According to Hilaria Baldwin, the baby news is “a blessing and a gift during uncertain times”. In addition, she missed her followers during her break, which she announced at the beginning of March. She is now back and looks forward to continuing “this wild journey that we call ‘life'” with them. Alec Baldwin didn’t speak up himself, but shared his wife’s post.
The news comes months after Alec Baldwin in involved in a fatal incident on the set of the western Rust was. The actor had fired a firearm during rehearsals in October 2021, which was apparently accidentally loaded with live ammunition. Camerawoman Halyna Hutchins was fatally injured in the incident. The actor was later sued by several people, including Hutchins’ survivors. The police investigations are ongoing.
