In an interview, Billie Eilish spoke about the aftermath of her early porn use. The singer particularly does not like the way women are portrayed.

Most children and adolescents are curious at some point and want to learn more about sex. Billie Eilish said in an interview with radio presenter Howard Stern that she saw porn for the first time when she was just eleven years old.

She was permanently disturbed by the films. “As a woman, I think that porn is a shame,” said the superstar in an interview with Stern. “I used to watch a lot of porn to be honest. I started watching porn when I was about eleven.” The consequences were serious for them. “I think this really destroyed my brain and I feel devastated because I’ve been exposed to so much porn,” she said.

She was choosing increasingly extreme varieties of porn, which resulted in her perception of sexual intercourse being affected. “It went so far that I couldn’t look at anything else unless it was violent, otherwise I didn’t find it attractive,” she openly admitted.

Affecting their sex life

At that time she was still a virgin herself. Her porn consumption had too much of an impact on the first sexual activities in her life. “The first few times I had sex, I didn’t say no to things that weren’t good. It was because I thought that’s what attracted me,” said the multiple Grammy winner.

Eilish also attributes her sleep disorders today to her consumption. However, one of the biggest problems for them is the portrayal of women and female bodies in porn movies. “The way vaginas look in porn is damn crazy,” emphasized the 19-year-old. “No vaginas look like this. A woman’s body doesn’t look like this.” She is angry that porn is so popular and part of her youth. Feminist circles have been criticizing the porn industry for a long time. More and more women filmmakers are producing feminist sex films that are not just about male pleasure.
