Actor Bob Odenkirk is best known for his role as a lawyer in Breaking Bad. He starred in the spin-off series Better Call Saul. Now Odenkirk has been honored with a star.

“Better Call Saul” star Bob Odenkirk (59) has unveiled a star plaque with his name on Hollywood’s “Walk of Fame”.

The couple posed with his wife, producer Naomi Odenkirk, and their small mongrel dog in front of photographers and cheering fans at the plaque. Co-stars like Rhea Seehorn, Jonathan Banks and Giancarlo Esposito from the hit series “Breaking Bad” and “Better Call Saul” also celebrated on the tourist strip in the heart of Hollywood.

The actor received the 2720th plaque on the famous sidewalk there. The star is next to that of “Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston. In “Breaking Bad” Odenkirk plays the lawyer Saul Goodman, who bails out drug dealer Walter White (Cranston) again and again. The star honor coincided with the launch of the sixth and final season of Better Call Saul, a spin-off series of Breaking Bad. In this backstory, Odenkirk plays the leading role – a sly lawyer who, as Saul Goodman, advances to become a representative of the drug lords and becomes more and more ruthless.

Odenkirk thanked the series creators for creating “such a funny and tragic” character in Goodman. With this role, he “completely undeservedly” hit the jackpot, said the TV star. When he first visited the Star Mile in 1987, he pretty much despised the whole Hollywood business. Today he is part of it and appreciates show business. “But I love making fun of it and being a part of it at the same time,” Odenkirk mused.
