Better anti-AfD protests late than never – but still too late

The fact that seasoned politicians welcome the fact that “society” and “the citizens” are taking matters into their own hands and fighting the AfD must be a cause for concern. Wouldn’t they actually be the ones who should be able to do it much better?

EIt is a good sign that thousands of people on the streets of Germany are committed to the values ​​of the republic and are fighting to protect its institutions. One could add a little Beckmesserian: a little late, since the AfD’s fantasies about “remigration”, which are part of the tradition of ethnic cleansing in the Germanic study of Björn Höcke, have been known for years.

Anyone who claims, as is now the case in the Bundestag, that only a “secret meeting” in Potsdam showed “clearly and openly to everyone” what was going on in the minds of identitarians and the AfD must have been asleep during this time.
