Belarusian Festival in Munich – Munich

“Razam” – translated together – is the name of the association of the Belarusian community in Germany. That is exactly the aim of the “Minsk x Minga” festival of independent Belarusian culture, which is taking place for the second time this year at Backstage in Munich: to strengthen the relationship between Bavaria and the Belarusian population together, to take action against the oppression of the Lukashenko system and To show solidarity with Ukraine. From September 8th to 10th, artists and committed people will present the Belarusian culture that lives on despite repression – also here in Munich. The festival is supported by the Bavarian State Government and the Heintze Foundation.

Ljawon Volski, a Belarusian rock legend whose band also achieved international fame, is a star of the Belarusian resistance who is part of the diverse program. There are also other concerts like the band’s Šuma on the guests. But a reading, a play and workshops on folk dancing or playing the bagpipes also bring guests closer to Belarusian culture.
