Elena Miras provides a moment of shock: The first episode of “Schlag den Besten” starts with a medical incident.
On February 24, 2024, RTL will bring “Schlag den Besten” back to television. Things really get going in the first episode (already shown on RTL+) of the game show with presenter Elton (52). candidate Elena Miras (31) had to be treated by a doctor during the first game.
The reality actress competes against former ski racer Hilde Gerg (48). The candidates have to squeeze out tubes of different sizes and different contents, from ketchup to putty. Whoever can produce the lighter tube in ten seconds wins the respective sub-round.
Elena Miras goes into the duel injured; she has a bandage on her left hand. The 31-year-old injured her thumb while cutting pumpkin and the cut had to be stitched.

Nevertheless, Miras throws herself into the task full of energy, pushing with both hands and with full physical effort. But after three tubes she falls to her knees in pain. A doctor enters the stage and finally takes the Swiss woman behind the scenes. The bandage was replaced there and the wound had reopened.
Back on stage, Elena Miras wants to continue with both hands. But at Elton’s suggestion, the competitors agreed to change the rules. Both of them only press with their right hands. The duel continues.
“Beat the best”: These stars compete against each other
In “Schlag den Besten” eleven prominent candidates compete against each other in ten games in four shows. Whoever wins the duel stays and plays against the next star. The winners earn 10,000 euros with each challenge. You can decide whether you want to continue or take home the money you have earned. If the winner quits, celebrities who have already been eliminated can also come back.
“Schlag den Besten” first aired on ProSieben in 2019, as a spin-off from “Schlag den Star”. Unlike the mother show and now the new edition, there were no celebrities meeting each other, just normal people. In the first two seasons, a duel lasted an entire show, like in “Beat the Star”. From the third season onwards, the opponent changed after every game.
In the first episode, these celebrities appear alongside Elena Miras and Hilde Gerg: circus artist René Casselly (27), singer Lucas Cordalis (56), former handball player Pascal Hens (43), ex-Bachelor Paul Janke (42), Reality -Star Calvin Kleinen (31), model and trans activist Benjamin Melzer (37), artist Lili Paul-Roncalli (25), reality star Adriano Salvaggio and “Unter uns” actor Timothy Boldt (33).
