It’s only a few euros. But they have it all: From May 1st, the ticket tax on German air traffic will rise. Depending on the distance, airlines will in future have to pay 22 to 25 percent more tax on each ticket sold. All airlines that fly to or from German airports have to pay the tax. Flying is becoming more expensive for all passengers and tourists who land or take off in Germany.
