BBL: Alba Berlin – Bayern Munich: Victory in game 3 – decision postponed – basketball

decision adjourned!

In the third game of the basketball finals, Bayern Munich beat Alba Berlin 90-60. The Munich keep the chance for the title. Alba had won the first two games of the best-of-five series.

In front of 14,500 spectators in the sold-out Mercedes-Benz Arena, the Bavarians got going like firefighters. Alba, on the other hand, can’t get into the rhythm at all.

Only 8.2 seconds before half-time does the first threesome fly in. Before that, eleven missed. The guests, on the other hand, make seven out of 18.

At half time, Bayern are leading with a proud 19 points (52:33)! So almost better than in the entire second game. Since Bayern had only scored 58 points.

Improvement after the break? None! Alba still doesn’t hit anything, Bayern, on the other hand, even extend their lead to 26 points at the end of the third quarter.

Significant: Alba hits only two out of 21 (!) Threes (9.5 percent).

Outstanding throwers at Bayern: Deshaun Thomas and Nick Weiler-Babb with 19 points each. At Alba, da Silva has 15 points.

Bayern break an incredibly long winning streak: Because Alba had previously won 19 Bundesliga games in a row.

For Alba it is even the highest home bankruptcy in club history.

Alba coach Israel González (47) on “Magenta Sport”: “We just played badly! We have to learn from it.”

Bayern coach Andrea Trinchieri: “I knew we could have a game like this. I’m really satisfied. Against Alba, in Berlin, the party was ready: well, now there is no party.

The fourth game takes place on Sunday at 3 p.m. in Munich. If Bayern wins again, there will be a decider in Berlin on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m.
